The TezRez Mission
In Memory of Tarrez & Santez
Two young lives, both full of promise, taken far too soon.
At the age of 20, Tarrez lost his life to gun violence. Just a year and a half earlier, his brother Santez, also only 20, was killed in a tragic accident when a friend drove intoxicated and struck a utility pole.
These heartbreaking losses are the foundation of The TezRez Mission—a movement born to save our youth from preventable tragedies and to ensure their futures aren’t cut short by violence, reckless choices, or lack of guidance.

Our Mission & Vision
The TezRez Mission fights for:
- ✅ Ending Youth Gun Violence – through advocacy, mentorship, and education.
- ✅ Safe Driving Awareness – preventing impaired driving and reckless behavior that claim too many young lives.
- ✅ Youth Empowerment – building confidence, leadership, and decision-making skills to resist destructive influences.
- ✅ Community Healing – providing support for families impacted by loss, and uniting communities to stand against violence.
